Ashley Albarado, M.D., is a practicing psychiatrist with seven years of experience in general psychiatry and four years in child and adolescent psychiatry. Following her graduation from the LSU School of Medicine in 2009, Dr. Albarado completed her general residency with the LSU-Ochsner Psychiatry Program. While participating in the Tulane Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Fellowship, she also served as Co-Chief Resident from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Albarado has clinical and research experience. She assisted in clinical data collection at LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans and authored a 2013 summary regarding childhood PTSD screening. Dr. Albarado is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general psychiatry, as well as child and adolescent psychiatry.
With the Psychiatry Associates of Baton Rouge, Dr. Ashley Albarado works primarily with children and adolescents to diagnose and treat depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, autism (including Asperger’s Disorder), behavior and anger problems, as well as many other symptoms and disorders. Dr. Albarado is currently accepting new patients.
