Adrian Agosta, L.C.S.W.

Adrian is a licensed clinical social worker in Baton Rouge, Louisiana who has been providing therapy and working with young adults, individuals, and families for more than 18 years, using an eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. Adrian has experience in a variety of treatment settings including both inpatient and outpatient environments. Adrian is a native of South Louisiana and earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Adrian also completed a Certificate Program in Geriatrics at Louisiana State University. Adrian is currently in private practice in Baton Rouge. His areas of clinical interest include treating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and men’s issues, including balancing work and personal life. Over the course of his career he has worked frequently with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses and other disciplines. He is a Board Approved Clinical Social Worker who has experience mentoring graduate social workers to earn their professional license credentials.

Michael Cascio, L.C.S.W., B.C.D., A.C.S.W., C.G.P.

Michael Cascio received his Masters in Clinical Social Work from Louisiana State University.  He is a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker  by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners and is additionally recognized as a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work.  He is a certified member of the Academy of Clinical Social Workers.  Michael also has been designated by the American Group Psychotherapy Association as a Certified Group Psychotherapist.  

In his private practice, he offers individual therapy, couple and family therapy, and group psychotherapy.   Michael works collaboratively and holistically with his clients to help them reach their desired goals in emotional and psychological health, in learning effective coping skills and ways to achieve maximum functioning while facing stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, in enhancing friendship, family, and work relationships, in addressing couple and marriage relationship issues in order to achieve meaningful connection, in exploring Spiritual concerns, in working toward greater physical health, and in achieving educational and career goals.  Michael is dedicated to helping each client reach their maximum potential as an individual and in relationship in order to enjoy greater health, fulfillment, and sense of peace and well-being.  

Michael also enjoys serving as a consultant to Jefferson Oaks Behavioral Health where he leads groups to help clients improve relationships and also groups to help clients learn to effectively cope with emotions.   He also serves as a consultant to LSU Mental Health leading an experiential learning group for psychology, social work and counseling interns.

Sarah Raines, LCSW

Sarah is a licensed clinical social worker in Baton Rouge. She works with children, adults, and families. She served as a teacher and principal in schools and earned her doctorate before earning her Masters Degree in Social Work at Louisiana State University. Sarah worked for Our Lady of the Lake Hospital focusing on inpatient services as well as linking patients to outpatient providers. Her therapeutic services include psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and play therapy for children younger than 12. Sarah also serves as a liaison with patients’ schools to assist parents with academic and behavioral issues. Her counseling addresses grief and loss, depression, anxiety, parenting and behavior modification, substance use, life transitions such as divorce, and communication in relationships.
